Paxton & Whitfield recalls both flavours of its Pots of Pork because of a failure of procedures to control Clostridium botulinum
Paxton & Whitfield is recalling both of its Pots of Pork because of concerns over the manufacturer’s procedures in place to control Clostridium botulinum. The products are manufactured by Cornish Charcuterie and relate to the recall they undertook on 15 August 2017.

Lidl Ireland recalls three Vemondo products because they contain undeclared allergens
Lidl Ireland has recalled three Vemondo products because they contain undeclared allergens. This means the products are a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to celery or mustard; an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents; and/or an allergy or intolerance to wheat (gluten) and/or barley (gluten).

UPDATE: Cornish Charcuterie recalls various types of its pates and rillettes because of a failure of procedures to control Clostridium botulinum
Cornish Charcuterie is extending the recall to also include their Westcountry Duck Confit in addition to pates and rillettes because of concerns over the company’s procedures in place to control Clostridium botulinum.

Tesco is recalling a batch of its Creamy Leek and Bacon Cooking Sauce because it contains egg which is not mentioned on the label. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to egg.

Peter’s Food Service Ltd recalls several baked meat and vegetarian pasty products because they may contain glass fragments. Products include ASDA, LIDL and Peter’s brand products.
