The Food Standards Agency and Food Standards Scotland are today publishing details of a major review into the sites where meat products are processed and stored in the UK.

Following the meeting between Food Standards Scotland (FSS), the Food Standards Agency (FSA) and members of the UK meat industry last week, FSS met with further Scottish meat industry representatives at its offices in Aberdeen.

Food Standards Scotland launched two new reports today highlighting the huge challenge for people in Scotland to have a healthier diet and reduce their risk of diet related diseases.
