The next board meeting will take place on 10 June 2020

Food Standards Scotland (FSS) has published new research on campylobacter - the most common cause of bacterial food poisoning in Scotland - which provides important new evidence on those at greater risk of infection and severe illness, and the estimated healthcare cost of infection.

Our new campaign, supported by Allergy UK and Young Scot, launches today (27 February). The campaign encourages young people with food allergies across Scotland to discuss their food allergies with friends, and when they’re eating out and about, and to remember their allergy pen if they need one.

The next Board meeting will be held at our Food Standards Scotland offices in Aberdeen, Pilgrim House, Old Ford Road, Aberdeen, AB11 5RL on 19 February 2020

Food Standards Scotland has announced 17 food and drink industry partners have pledged to support its Scottish Food Crime and Incidents Unit (SFCIU) so far, in raising awareness of food crime and how to report it.
