Update on Galloway Medium Grated Cheddar Cheese recall - error in company’s sampling
Lactalis McLelland Ltd as a responsible food business took the precautionary step of recalling a batch of its Galloway Coloured Medium Grated Cheddar following a company test result showing that it might contain listeria. The company has now advised Food Standards Scotland that the result was incorrect and was due to an error in the sampling process.
