Packaging error resulting in incorrect allergen information being declared on products. This poses a public health risk to those who are allergic to any of the undeclared allergens. Undeclared allergens are Milk, Soya, Wheat Flour, Peanuts and other nuts.

Batleys recalls Lorne Sausage due to undeclared sulphur dioxide and Wheat
Batleys in Glasgow (29 Kilbirnie Street) recalls their Lorne Sausage because the product contains sulphur dioxide and wheat, which is not mentioned on the product packaging. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with a sensitivity to sulphur dioxide / sulphites and/or an allergy or intolerance of wheat.
