Update on Fipronil in eggs
Food Standards Scotland continues to liaise with the Food Standards Agency regarding the ongoing investigation into foods which may contain egg from farms in the Netherlands, which illegally used Fipronil to treat egg-laying hens.

Chatsworth House is recalling various types of pates and rillettes because of concerns over the manufacturer’s procedures in place to control Clostridium botulinum. The products are manufactured by Cornish Charcuterie and relate to the recall they undertook on 15 August 2017.

Lidl Ireland recalls three Vemondo products because they contain undeclared allergens
Lidl Ireland has recalled three Vemondo products because they contain undeclared allergens. This means the products are a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to celery or mustard; an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents; and/or an allergy or intolerance to wheat (gluten) and/or barley (gluten).
